Our client is a leading manufacturer & supplier to the underground coal and metalliferous mining sectors. They have manufacturing and distribution facilities across Australia and South East Asia. Due to their significant and rapid growth, a need has been identified for a Logistics Manager to join their busy Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Australian Supply Chain Manager the Logistics Manager will lead and drive the warehouse and despatch activities of the Newcastle site with a particular emphasis on the implementation, management and maintenance of operational priorities utilising Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and principles.

The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience or understanding of MRP or ERP.

Transport and distribution industry experience in a coordinator or management role in a similar dynamic manufacturing industry environment.

Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

High level attention to detail and record accuracy.

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.
