My client is one of the largest producers of their commodity of choice in the world. Their current open pit operation is well established and has a long and profitable life ahead of it. This company is listed in the ASX and is going from strength to strength recording excellent profits this year. They have over 800 employees and contractors in WA and that number will continue to grow over this financial year and next. The role will require a seasoned geologist to work on the companys flag ship operation. You will be required to lend your diversified experiences in geology across the production and development team. You will be required to have strong IT skills as you will also be required to uphold and manage the companys database integrity. As senior geologist you will also be monitoring, mentoring and leading a motivated team of varying levels of experience. The successful candidate can expect to be kept busy coordinating the drilling activities of this multiple pit, open cut mine. Ideally you will have: * 5 Years + geology experience * Exposure to Vulcan is highly desirable * O/P mine experience * BSc in Geology The role is a FIFO from Perth on a 8:6 roster flying in company time. The site is a short flight Perth which keeps the inconvenience down. The camp which you will be staying at has excellent amenities and recreational activities. The role offers a very strong base salary (based on experience), above standard superannuation and production related bonuses.
