A unique opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Technical HSE role within the QLD CSG industry We are working in partnership to create one of the largest domestic infrastructure projects in Australia that will convert CSG into LNG for export. As the construction and gas field development continues we are actively recruiting for the role of Field HSSE Manager. Based in Chinchilla, QLD you will report directly to the GM Field Operations and will be responsible for several direct senior reports. Your role will coordinate, supervise and put into operation all procedures to manage the site and HSE activities in line with the company’s common goals. You will work within the field management team to implement of the company health, safety, security and environmental issues to ensure effective work practises and compliance You will lead the operational HSE team across the project groups responsible for: Ensuring internal employees and external contractors perform work using the HSSE systems to meet compliance Development of project OH&S processes and responsibility for relevant documentation Delivering completed investigations of high risk and major incidents Lead HSSE project budgets.
The successful candidate will: Be a leader of OH&S and have a demonstrable background of driving excellence in the area Be tertiary qualified in a relevant Health & Safety or environmental discipline Be able to work in a remote location – Surat Basin Possess substantial experience working in an operating oil / gas facility Able to deliver qualified audit experience Possess knowledge and experience of the QLD Petroleum Gas Act and regulations Minimum Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
