An exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join this leading Public Hospital. Offering an exceptional salary plus generous benefits and salary packaging options this role is suitable only for experienced Technicians with a proven background in Hospital Dispensary. Positioned at the Grade 3 level - this role will ideally suit a Technician with at least 2-3 years Hospital experience working across all facets of the Dispensary.
Reporting into the Hospital's Pharmacy Services Manager, you will work a rotating roster supporting the Clinical Pharmacists and will take responsibility for;
- Dispensing a variety of medications and prescriptions for inpatient, outpatient and day program patients
- Supplying and supporting ward imprest drug supplies
- Delivery/Courier services
- Stock Control/Ordering
- Submissions and PBS Claiming
- Stock Management and drug recalls
To be considered for this role you will have a proven background (minimum 2 years) working within a clinical Hospital pharmacy setting (essential) and excellent communication skills. A minimum certificate III in Pharmacy is essential though a Cert IV in Hospital/Health Services is highly desired. |
